SALVATION

When it comes to Salvation our forefathers taught a very simple Bible based message and that was, that there was but two steps to Salvation:

STEP ONE:
Step out of yourself……. Let go of everything that you think merits you favour with God, because it doesn’t. There is nothing that we can do of ourselves that can earn us Salvation. We must come to God as we are, sinners. We must repent, for repentance is absolutely necessary for Salvation, no one can be saved without it.

STEP TWO:
Step into Christ……. We must come to God as sinners and ask for His mercy. We must believe and accept that Salvation is a free gift from God and that, the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s only Begotten Son, has achieved our Salvation for us on the Cross when he died for our sins. Step into Christ, accept Him as your Saviour and you will be saved. Don’t and you won’t
THERE IS NO OTHER WAY!

If you are not saved and would like to be saved. Then you may find the following prayer helpful

GOD BE MERCIFUL TO ME A SINNER.

I REPENT OF MY SINS AND PLACE MY TRUST IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, FOR MY SALVATION.

MAKE ME A NEW CREATURE IN HIM AND GIVE ME THE POWER TO LIVE MY LIFE FOR YOU FROM THIS MOMENT FORWARD AND SERVE YOU.

IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

If you have prayed this prayer and accepted The Lord Jesus as your saviour. Then you need to tell someone, another Christian, what you have done. So they can help and encourage you in the faith. If you don’t know anyone you can talk to about this, then contact us, we would love to hear from you.

Seven Steps to Knowing God

This clearly sets out the Biblical view of the sinful state of man before a Holy God, and the only means of reconciliation, through the all sufficient sacrifice the Lord Jesus Christ made by shedding His Blood at Calvary.

The Bible says it, we believe it, that settles it!

"To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna"

SEVEN STEPS TO KNOWING GOD

Step 1 Recognize that God Loves you
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3 verse 16
“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and
Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” John 17 verse 3
“As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.”
John 15
verse 9

Step 2 Admit that you need help
“And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men
loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” John 3
verse 19
“I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe
not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.” John 8 verse 24
“He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is
condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only
begotten Son of God.” John 3 verse 18

Step 3 Believe that Jesus is the only Saviour
“Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” John 1
verse 29
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh
unto the Father, but by me.” John 14 verse 6
“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth
not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” John 3
verse 36

Step 4 Receive Jesus as your own Saviour
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons
of God, even to them that believe on his name:” John 1 verse 12
“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall
any man pluck them out of my hand.” John 10 verse 28
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on
him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into
condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” John 5 verse 24

Step 5 Acknowledge that Jesus is now your Lord and Friend
“Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.” John 15 verse 14
“And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.” John 20
verse 28
“Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that
your joy may be full.” John 16 verse 24

Step 6 Recognize that you belong to God’s family, the church
“Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the
doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews,
came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto
you. And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side.
Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.” John 20 verses 19 &
20
“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him,
the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”
John 15 verse 5

Step 7 Commit yourself to serve the Lord; pray, read the Bible and
witness
“And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father
may be glorified in the Son.” John 14 verse 13
“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my
word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the
truth shall make you free.” John 8 verses 31 & 32
“Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent
me, even so send I you.” John 20 verse 21

Prayer
Heavenly Father, I know that I have sinned and need your forgiveness. I
believe that Your Son the Lord Jesus Christ died for me on the cross and I
am willing to repent and turn from my sins. I now by faith invite the Lord
Jesus to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour and I am
willing, by Your grace, to follow and obey Him as the Lord of my life. Amen.
